Playing time is more convenient than the 2nd edition of Runebound, even with more than 2 players.

Box contains a handful of varied and colourful characters, 2 scenarios with good replay value, lots of cards and tokens. After examining the decks of cards the monsters seem very different in strong to weak monsters, however they all use the same set of Tokens which can do allot to the heroes. The theme is rich and immersive and most characters feel different enough. I know the token system was intended to balance out the 2nd edition game which favored the heroes to win.
