Inn was wonderful, room inviting, washroom was lovely with long tub to enjoy the jets, food was good both breakfast and lounge faire. We couldn’t have asked for more. When we visited, it felt like you were at your own resort in this gorgeous Muskoka setting. It was such a luxury! We attended a wedding in June and really enjoyed our weekend. Why? He shared many things about the property and had great suggestions for the dinner menu. I also was so excited to surprise everyone with our first dance – which was a total success! And we were blown away by the service and attention to detail. Sherwood Inn weddings are exclusive, meaning that the entire resort is closed to accommodate just the private group present for the party. It was everything I had hoped for. Saw a nicely renovated suite in the main building but decided to stay in a very comfortable room in a newer building with a balcony overlooking Lake Joseph and a fireplace. Pinewood East cottage is large and has a large deck overlooking the lake where we’re able to get some nice photos of the fellas in a relaxed setting.
