The cabin we were in had a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside being nestled in the side of Mt Quincan. My Partner and I visited Mt Quincan last week and it was incredible! Well appointed kitchen.
Cabin 2 overlooks the valley and the view was spectacular. Listen to the peaceful sounds of the wildlife while you relax in your double spa. If the cabins were somewhere else, they might not have been worth it but we could spend 2 days not needing to go anywhere but still see tons of lovely wildlife. But for a romantic cabin, how could they have forgotten to supply trays for breakfast in bed?

Romantic rainforest isolation on the slopes of an extinct volcano. Dennis even ended up doing our photography for us as we had no photographer - it was such a fun experience.The rooms are beautiful, putting the fire on is a must, especially on the cold winter nights!

They leave food in the refrigerator (mostly sausage or bacon based) so you can cook your own breakfast (however, they might not want to leave the garnish in with the raw pork next time). Just minutes from the scenic villages of Yungaburra, Peeramon and Malanda.
The cabin we stayed in was extremely well appointed with a kitchenette, tv and lounge, a very comfortable bed and a two person spa added to the relaxation. The fire in the cabin was my husband's favourite feature especially the way it turned around to face the bedroom or the lounge area. Private balconies.
We were welcomed to our tree house by a heart of rose petals, warm pumpkin scones and home made bread.
The romantic angle is a little over the top (the spa is right in front of the best window view, it isn't possible to light the room brighter than romantic dim, the beds were extra extra soft, etc) However, it is right in the middle of some very beautiful country.
Mt Quincan is the perfect base for an Adventure or Eco get away, with such an abundance of natural splendour around us. The cabin gets the morning sun which was lovely and even though we didn't see a tree kangaroo this didn't matter as three possums joined us after dinner on the balcony. Mt Quincan is home to an abundance of wildlife including 4 threatened species. We'll definitely be back, we loved it! We saw Tree Kangaroos from our spa, fed possums, paddimelons and scrub turkeys from our balcony. There were Sarus cranes in the valley below.

The bed is super comfy, the outdoor shower and spa are awesome and and fire place just tops it off as we used it every night! We previously stayed in one of the Tree houses facing in towards the crater & I have to say as amazing as it was I did prefer the view out towards the fields, the sunrises were amazing. Little treats from flowers, port and chocolate throughout the tree house were extra touches we didn't expect.
